Can a motherboard kill a battery?
Hello!
The Omen laptop, the battery is completely dead, it works only from the mains. At one point, when launching demanding applications (games, video editors), it began to cut itself out. I thought the problem was in the power supply and took it for repair.
The service said the problem is in the battery (to go nuts ingenious conclusion) and offered to put a new one. In principle, this will not be worse and I agreed. After that, they suddenly declare that the problem is in the motherboard.
They say that initially the problem was in her, they say she killed the old battery and now she needs to be repaired, otherwise this battery will not last long.
Actually the question is: Can the motherboard kill the battery?
I'm just in iron 0. Thanks in advance!
