Buying apple technology from America?

And the American apple store macbook air m1 16gb 512ssd can be bought for ~ 105-110t, while in the Russian one for this money you can buy with operational 8gb and ssd 256. That is, when buying from America, you can save about 15-25t rubles.

I know that for such purposes there are services like a parcel, it sizzles when you are given an American address to which Apple will deliver the goods, and then they will send me my package to Russia.

I see one risk - the computer will either be stolen at the post office, or it will arrive damaged. But these delivery services offer insurance (around 5k), which is still more profitable than buying in Russia.

Tell me, who bought equipment from America according to this scheme? What can be pitfalls?

I bought a so-so VR helmet the year before last, just due to the fact that even taking into account all the duties, delivery, and insurance, it came out almost two cheaper than the cheapest offer in Russia

I waited for almost a month, probably, but the box did not suffer at all - everything is packed quite well. Outside there is a box of parcels, and inside there is already a retail box, and the free space is covered with soft granules.
So it seems to me that it is quite safe to order. The main thing is not to agree to pony express - a friend of mine ordered sneakers through them, and waited for them for six months - there was a very long wait in front of customs.
In theory, if delivered by Russian mail, then customs will go through faster, but xs what about theft.

Well, the first stone is that domestic services can quite easily refuse warranty repairs for equipment sold not in their region.
The second customs can count something extra according to their Wishlist, or slow down at which warehouse until the data is clarified, which is also a supposedly paid service
. I think possible 10-15 % savings are hardly worth the possible crap.
With used equipment, there is still some reason, there is more choice and prices are lower, but I don’t see much sense with the new one
