Buying a vacant .com domain?

There is a very old .com domain. I know it won't be extended. Rucenter registrar. But they have an auction service and free domains only for ru/su/rf. Is there a chance to re-register for yourself in manual mode or will his bots outbid?
PS: the essence of the problem is simple: there is access to domain management, but the owner - LLC, has not existed for a long time, so it is impossible to re-register.

first renew it, and then transfer it to another registrar, as far as I remember, com domains can be transferred directly online and change details in the same way

So stupidly pay the renewal, and use it further.
Or order a "left" wet seal of this LLC, write a letter to Ru-center and transfer the domain to yourself. No one is going to make a claim?
