Buy a Macbook Pro now or wait for ARM-based Macbooks?

The first ARM-based Macbooks are expected to be released later this year.
I'm not going to buy a poppy on ARM, but is there any point in waiting for the start of sales of such poppies, hoping that the prices for current firmware (20th year) will drop?

If something is presented, it will be AIR or an analogue of the old macbook 12! But I strongly doubt it and I think that it will be at least next year.
In addition, do not forget that the software also needs to be optimized for processors and the real transition will be 3-4 years, computers on Intel will be the main devices for a very long time and will then be excellently sold in second-hand form! Although Apple said there that the transition would be easy for developers, but for more than half a year they have not really been able to solve problems with crashing software on 10th generation Intel chips) What kind of quick transition to ARM can we talk about? People suffered when Apple refused to support 32-bit applications, and here the changes are much more serious!
If something is worth waiting for, then it is in mbp 16 "new generation processors and fast RAM. Otherwise, you can safely take it now. It's just that now an ARM machine is just a calculator with a couple of Apple applications, and considering how Apple has been making its devices in recent years (Macbook 2016 was more or less polished by 2019) - people will be afraid to take it to ARM, I personally will take the new MBP 16 "to Intel and plan to wait at least 5 years until everything stabilizes)

They will sink, but not much and not immediately. After the release, wait at least six months for the 20s to fall in price.

Always with the release of new models from Apple, previous models become cheaper. If not urgent, then it is better to wait.
