Building the centos7 kernel for your hardware?

Hello everyone, you need to build a kernel for your hardware, how to do it automatically? For example: the system recognizes which processor and specifically makes the configuration automatically for it. I heard about the make utility, but everything is handled there.

Sorry, but a level question: "Hello everyone, you need to build a house from prefabricated panels, how to do it automatically? I heard about a hammer, but everything is done with handles."
centos for those who like to build a kernel for their hardware is called gentoo. Start here . But you probably don't need it either.
Try to explain why you want to do this, what do you want to achieve?
If a 10-fold increase in hello_world performance, then no, you will not achieve it.
If you surf the web without brakes on a 10-year-old machine with a gig of memory - no, you won't achieve it either.

No way.
Either a generic bucket, which by the way there is no need to rebuild, or handles. And the handles do a very decent piece of work there. And yes - you need to understand what you are doing and be ready to restore the system. el7 already works well, without setting up a bucket.
