"Browser design", how to simplify and speed up development?

Hello!
How many times have I caught myself thinking that I am increasingly abandoning Photoshop and similar programs in favor of a browser ... I make a prototype of the layout, elements (price tables, banners, etc.) and go to the browser bypassing Photoshop and similar software to draw the layout in detail . For how many times have I noticed that in Ps the colors, font, indents are a little, but different.
I do the layout and design right in the browser, then transfer everything to files and you're done.
I noticed that some people do the same. In connection with this, a few questions:
1. I load the finished html / CSS using Ftp > open file > copy the operating time from the browser > save to a file and upload to the server. Maybe there is a better option? Something like a mini ftp in the browser itself, what could be saved directly from the browser window?
2. What other browser extensions simplify this type of development?
----
And in general, if anyone has a similar development experience, share a couple of tips, maybe something will be really interesting!
Thank you!

@Mike_Ro

1. Development is carried out on a local server, why ftp?
2. Colors differ from monitor to monitor
3. Colors and color schemes in Photoshop are customizable
4. There is such a thing as web colors
5. Photoshop is for a designer, not a layout designer, there are many specialized programs for layout.
6. Methods and development tools may vary from project to project based on its architecture, the number of people in the team and the technologies used in the project.
So if it's about joomla or wordpress and a budget of $300 - do it any way you like. If not, think before you do.
