Book on ASP.NET MVC 4?
Previously, I dabbled with the web only in PHP / JS and it was a very, very long time ago. So you can say newbie in the world of web technologies.
I have been working as a C# and WPF developer for 2 years, but I only wrote for desktop. Now I decided to fill the knowledge gap in the web in the .NET environment.
Recommend a book in Russian on ASP.NET MVC 4.
On the net, the ASP.NET MVC Framework is most praised with examples in C # for professional ... , but it seems to be only about MVC 3.5 (at least in Russian), but I would like to immediately Start with 4 (maybe I'm wrong).
There is also one, but there are few reviews: ASP.NET MVC 4. Development of real web applications ... .

In the end, I decided not to compromise. To hell with MVC 4, let it be the 3rd one.

Thanks to everyone who unsubscribed!
I started with two tutorials on the asp.net site about creating music stores and a book library on mvc3 and mvc4.
XaocCPS has a book, I took a
lot of interesting things from here metanit.com/sharp/mvc/
There are also interesting articles and notes on tags, I wrote one of them, but after updating my experience I don’t want to recommend it.
Pro ASP.NET MVC 4
It is not available in Russian, but what's the point of reading it in Russian with a shitty (as always) translation?
This is my personal opinion, it may differ from the books and recommendations of different companies, and even more so, the opinions of other developers.
I won’t suggest books, I won’t give links, I myself have been reading for a long time. nerddinner is quite an example, but despite the fact that the project is developing, the book on it seems to be outdated. Microsoft made WebAPI . Much has been written about him on asp.net.
WebAPI is quite a good thing, in my personal project I made a web server based on selfhosting webapi, capable of giving statics (directly from the RAM) and API to json. You can screw razor there, but I don’t need it yet.
Then I did authentication without any problems (windows and basic).
- But the most interesting thing that I saw in the asp.net world isServiceStack . There is everything you need. And there are enough examples on github. Here is the most complete razor.servicestack.net/ , which shows different page layout options (this site should be thoughtfully read in the studio, and not in the browser).
I gave the direction where to google. Sorry that I didn’t actually bring books, but I immediately show where the really tasty buns are. Books in English are slowly coming out, in Russian - in general, sadness.
