Bluetooth mouse keeps freezing, how to fix it?
Input data:
- laptop HP Elitebook 840 G7
- Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
- Microsoft Bluetooth 3600, connection method - Bluetooth (without a special adapter, directly to the laptop)
Problem:
- the mouse freezes periodically. The hang depends on whether the laptop is connected to power and what performance mode it is on. Scenario: I don’t touch the mouse, then I start using it, it doesn’t react for a second, then it abruptly performs an action (for example, moving to the left). If the laptop is not connected to a power outlet and the power saving mode is on, then lags occur even after a millisecond delay in mouse control (i.e., in fact, it turns out that the mouse constantly lags). If you continuously perform mouse actions, then there are no lags.

I had the same problem on Windows, in the adapter settings I unchecked the box to allow power saving and the mouse stopped falling off. On Ubuntu, hell knows where this setting is hidden, but try to find it through the search:
