I've got a burning desire to create an Internet forum. I plan to create on cms, but in the future I will completely rework it for myself and add a lot of worthwhile functionality. Since in connection with the work there is not much time for technical problems and their solutions. I plan to create a block on the channel platform in the telegram. The blog will publish the development stages of the forum and various articles in order to attract the user. I also plan to develop a blog and ask the audience if such a forum will come to them. After analyzing a larger number of users of the telegram of the Russian Federation, I realized that not everyone is interested in the forum, but the good thing is that the audience of the telegram is very high quality. I don't consider VK.
The whole point is that I don’t know if it’s worth starting a blog first, and then a forum?

Depends on the topic of the forum.
If this is, for example, a forum for young mothers, then they will not be interested in the development stages.
And in general, I doubt that interest in the forum should be warmed up through a development blog. This can work with games, but not with the forum.
