Black line on plasma TV
Turning on the TV, I saw a horizontal black strip of 1 pixel right in the middle of the screen and the entire width of the screen, i.e. the whole screen shows fine, but one line of pixels does not light up at all.
When you turn on the TV, while it is warming up, white ripples run along this band, then the pixels simply do not burn. There were no mechanical damages, blows, etc.
Has anyone come across something similar?

A friend had a similar problem, the reason was a thunderstorm, within a month the strip spread almost to the entire screen, he drove to different shacks to repair such equipment, everyone screams with one voice, the repair will cost almost the full cost of the plasma.
I did not encounter a problem, but I think this is a problem in the image output controller. In theory, the cause may simply be a bad connection. Although in fact there may be a dozen reasons. In each specific case. The option that toomturum cited, for example, may mean that the power controller is disabled, which in turn disabled the same output controller. It's unlikely that anyone here will give you good advice. Contact the service center and there the experts will give you a logical conclusion. I hope you have a guarantee.
The column decoder on the matrix was covered, the actual matrix for replacement.
