I want to make a store on Bitrix (recommended)
I would like to know how it works with large catalogs (30,000 items of goods)?
And what will be the amount of memory consumed with such directory sizes?
to draw conclusions about hosting ...

and maybe there are better and cheaper systems (only php is interesting)?

HostCMS is much faster and lighter than Bitrix, it works fine even on inexpensive shared hosting. The online store is also available in the free version.

Shopscript is definitely a shitty choice compared to Bitrix (you may not understand this right away, but when you start developing the store you will face a huge number of difficulties when finishing shopscript). Bitrix is gluttonous and with such a directory size, at least a virtual dedicated server is needed. You will also have to conjure with the server settings for Bitrix, but if everything is done correctly, the system will work well.
