Hello. A question for 1C-Bitrix experts. Such a thing: now we have an old site on the site.ru domain.
And we are temporarily planning to place a new site on Bitrix on the subdomain new.site.ru Temporarily - for the development period, which may take several months. A commercial license for the CMS edition has already been purchased.
Question: what about the license? It also activates once. And at the end of development, we will have to transfer the finished site from the test domain new.site.ru to the main domain site.ru

The license is activated per site, not per domain. The domain can be changed later in your personal account. Itself changed 3 times domains on one license - without problems.

In the latest versions, Bitrix has a "development installation" setting https://dev.1c-bitrix.ru/learning/course/index.php...
Enable this for the development version.
