Bitrix: How is the mega menu implemented as in the speedmaster?

For example, sports shoes. How is this implemented?
As far as I can guess, the mega menu is done by hand:
1. a separate block is displayed with a list of brands and a link with a filter by brands.
2. Interested in exactly how cataloging is done. for example, one pair of black socks can be in several sections. in sports shoes for men, for women, for swimming and for running. Which way to implement? Separate properties? Separate directory?
ps goods are loaded from 1s. The structure of the item group should not change

One infoblock element can be linked to several sections. See the section binding property. and in 1s this is a grouping of the nomenclature.
