Bitcoin Core - too long indexing. How to fix?
I use Bitcoin Core, the block database is on a different disk. The problem is that the indexing of the database takes a very long time (several days), and when the light suddenly turns off, everything starts all over again.
The question is - can this be somehow fixed in Bitcoin Core? And if not - advise "light" clients with the greatest reliability/security. I use Bitcoin Core mainly because of its capabilities, but constant indexing does not allow me to use it correctly.

If you have an SSD, I recommend moving the base to an SSD, the acceleration is immediately felt at times.
You can also ask for the database archive from those who have it synchronized.
For alternative wallets, you can look at the reviews here ( 1 , 2 , 3 )
Somewhere on the bitcoin website there is a seed file (10-15 gigs), which can be downloaded from a torrent and quickly download 80-90 percent of the block chain. The rest will still need to be downloaded directly from the web. In total it will be faster.
PS. I'm chasing.. 20 gigs
