Beginning levels in programming (Intern, Junior)?
The question is a bit off topic, but I'm interested in how levels are defined in programming, and especially the initial levels (Intern, Junior). I've read a bit about this, but would love to hear your experience.
What is the difference between an intern and a junior? Is an internship like a probationary period or a full-time job with a salary? How long does it take for an intern to become a junior? How to understand that you are already ready to submit a resume, what should you be able to do (for example, in web development)? What tasks are assigned to the intern and junior, etc.?
If it's not difficult, tell us about all this, who has experience in working in companies or who understands this.
I will be very grateful, as well as many people who ask the same question.

An intern is a person doing a summer internship, for example. Nichrome does not know how, knows almost nothing, he came to study. Jun is a person with a first or second job, who has a full-fledged theory, but lacks practice to produce a quality product on his own, and needs the supervision of a senior. As DevMan correctly noted, the criteria may differ in different companies. So, in my opinion, you can absolutely consider yourself a middle when 10 out of 10 offers offer a middle rate and are ready to pay a salary determined for a middle by the market.
There are NO interns, no juniors, no middles, no seniors in the staff list of any company.
Companies operate with the concepts of junior specialist, specialist, senior specialist, leading specialist .
Everything.
All these foreign words are nothing more than show-offs and games with foreign words, far-fetched to our realities.
The level is determined by the CENTER of the candidate.
If they are looking for a senior specialist, then the candidate receives this position if successful.
And as Lentui rightly said
there is no objective criterion for determining the level of a programmer.
it's all relative. and a senior from one team can easily become an intern in another .
