Base script and heirs?

I have a basic script for moving a camera on a scene that hangs on a trigger. In short, as soon as the character comes into contact with the trigger, the camera smoothly moves to the base coordinates, also some objects also change their coordinates, and after that the trigger is destroyed. Relatively, this script is suitable for working on all scenes, but some require changes (additions) to the base script. For example: the camera should move to coordinates other than the base ones, you need to delete / restore some additional. objects, add various methods, fields to the script, and so on. What is the best way to implement this?
PS I'm just starting to work with the architecture of scripts, do not judge strictly.
