Bad connection on laptop via wifi, why?

Hello. Notebook Acer e1-570g. A cable is laid in the apartment, the cable is connected to a stationary PC through a router that distributes the Internet via wifi to other devices. For about a week now I have noticed such a problem that sometimes the Internet speed is poor on the laptop. And it happens like this - you turn on the laptop, for example, go to youtube, turn on the video 720 or 1080, the video loads up to 30% with lightning speed and does not load further. I have to reload the page, but the speed becomes very slow. The problem can be solved only by reconnecting the wifi connection in the tray. But not for long. Sometimes the Internet disappears altogether, although the connection is present. Again, reconnection helps, but not for long. With all this, on a stationary PC, in general, everything is OK, there are no such problems. Router d-link dir-300. Did a reset set up again - the effect is zero. I also updated the drivers for the wifi module (qualcomm atheros Ar956). It didn't give any effect. Installed two operators. systems. Windows 8.1 and ubuntu 14.04.
Kind people. Any guesses what it could be?

1. Interference between wifi and laptop. It can be both obstacles in the form of walls, and a lot of interference from third-party devices, including wifi points of your neighbors that can operate in the same frequency range.
The solution is to manually try to change channels, move your wifi away from the walls adjacent to neighbors or quite harshly, shield by pasting the walls with magnets and iron;)
2. Not a very good router, or the signal is weak (can be adjusted), but again a weak signal and poor quality is evidence of interference when stronger signals are jammed. Well, dlink dir-300 itself is not considered very good.
The solution is to buy something more reliable, more powerful.
