Bacula or Bareos or "something else". What to choose as a backup system?
There are many many different servers.
And now there are many different backup systems, both commercial and home-made.
I would like to bring this to a single system that will be convenient to manage and use.
The network has: Windows servers, Linux servers, KVM hypervisors, VMware hypervisors, Hyper-V hypervisors, Proxmox hypervisor (planned), in this whole business there are a number of well-known services: Exchange, MS SQL, MySQL, AD, Asterisk, control systems access, video surveillance, printers, network equipment.
I would like to have both a regular full backup of servers and equipment backups.
Can you tell me which system to choose for this task?
Of course, you yourself know what budget in a crisis))
I became interested in Bacula \ Bareos options, but maybe this is not all that is in the world)
