Backup for Windows Server 2008

There are two servers, the first is Windows Server 2008 x64 Web Edition, the second is Windows Server 2008R2 x64 Standard Edition. Internet between them.

It is necessary to set up a backup of one directory from the first server to the second, so that the second server has a mirror copy of this directory, which would be synchronized with the first server on a schedule.

What is the best way to use to organize such a backup? Can anyone recommend a program that, in his opinion, will best cope with the task?

Well, personally, I would implement everything using the FTP + script method in any language convenient for you (Python/C#/etc)

It is quite safe and does not require any knowledge, the channel loads a lot, but if I'm not mistaken there in cmd, you can choose to replace only old files.
1) Throw VPN (security through public channels)
2) Program in .bat file (well, it's just Watson)
2.1) Delete files
2.2) Make a copy
3) Task scheduler setting, VPN can be kept permanently. (it's also very easy)

The correct solution under Windows: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robocopy
DFS is also good, but it will be more difficult for you.
