Autonomous thermostat on ds1621 without MK. There is a solution?
The ds1621 contains non-volatile registers that store the lower and upper limits of the thermostat's hysteresis. A cyclic temperature measurement flag is also stored. There is a control output for cooling. Logically, it should work autonomously without a microcontroller with such features. But, until you kick it to the start of the measurement through i2c, the carcass does not want to cooperate. Maybe someone got it?

From documentation:
1SHOT = One Shot Mode. If 1SHOT is “1”, the DS1621 will perform one temperature conversion upon receipt of the Start Convert T protocol. If 1SHOT is “0”, the DS1621 will continuously perform temperature conversions. This bit is nonvolatile.
I read it, set 1shot to 0. I supply power without MK - it does not work.
