Auto entry to cart after adding product? | Internet shop?
I wondered whether to automatically enter the cart after adding a product to it, example:
www.django-ecommerce.com/
From the point of view of usability, is this bad or not?
I would like to note that the store does not have a lot of goods and basically they order one or two items.

After adding an item to the cart, the user needs to be shown information about what happened and what he can do next.
This is done in all major stores ( Euroset , Eldorado ). So we did at home On a plate .
IMHO, if the user has already added to the cart, then de facto he will go to the cart to place an order. Plus, all the same, if there are two products, then resetting the page on which the product was found is very blasphemous.
The most ideal option is to offer the user a choice of another product, show that the product has been added to the cart, and make the cart itself as a floating / static module accessible from any page of the site that has a preview of already added products.
I remember in some topic on Habré they suggested making two buttons “buy” and “add to cart”. The first automatically transfers to checkout, and the second simply adds to the cart with the ability to continue shopping.
