At what speed will the link be in a gigabit wire with broken 5 and 7 pins?

I want to clarify, in a gigabit connection, with broken 5 and 7 contacts, the maximum speed will be 100 mb / s, or am I mistaken?

I suspect that the network card will notice the impossibility of using gigabit and switch to 100Mbps if it is not prohibited in the settings.
