I, alas, own a zoo of huawei e160, e173, e1550 and a bunch of ZTE MF160, ZTE MF190. With them, the issue was resolved through the SIPGSMGATEWAY software - 10 modems for free, and then a license. So here's the fact - 8 voiced modems in one Core2Duo 2.4 / RAM 1GB / ... / Win7 ...
Bottom line: although there were no jambs, I consider it only as a TEMPORARY measure - the main channels go through an adequate Addpac 1002 gateway The measure is temporary, because by the end of the year I expect two Addpac 1004s to replace the modems...
