Ask for Fixed Price more than what was in the offer?

Hello.
I work for upwork, now I'm faced with a situation where the actual time spent on solving the problem turned out to be more than planned, but the project was a fixed price. The increase in work time was not due to my jambs, but due to the specifics of the task - it was necessary to debug on the customer's machine. Out of inexperience, I agreed to a fixed price, next time, of course, I will ask for an hourly rate ...
So, the question is - is it possible in this case, when requesting payment at the end of work, to indicate a larger amount, arguing for the longer time it took to solve? Has anyone done this? How do customers feel about this?
The project was small, for $30, but in total I spent about 5-6 hours of my time on it.

It’s better not to, the fixed price essentially carries a mutual risk. For example, if at a price of $1000 you actually earn only 500, you won’t tell the customer that oops, you threw me an extra 500 here, but simply consider this amount as a bonus for speed. Those. it is the risk of the customer - to overpay. So is your risk of not getting it.

It is not necessary to create a possible conflict because of "penny", it is better to ask / receive a good review and in the future it is better to count. Or shift some of the costs to a future project.
