Are you satisfied with the Macos standard windowing mechanism?

I'm not comfortable with how the screen is split into two applications. Full screen mode is done, why would I need to exit it to minimize the application. Are there other ways to work with windows like in Windows/Linux?

there is AppleScript, you can write the script you need to work with ui yourself, in your case, exit the full screen mode and minimize to the Dock. Hang on this script a combination of keys that are convenient for you. It is more than flexible and it takes no more time to write and debug than to write a question on a form and search for tooling.
Standard solutions will quickly turn into complex ones if they are oversaturated with unclaimed functionality. Full screen mode in osx is a new desktop, if you try to minimize - you will not see anything except your splash screen, learn to operate with desktops - this is much more convenient and more productive than minimizing windows in the dock.

I don't use split screen.
Convenient multiple desktops on each of the monitors, and swiping with three fingers between them.
Instead of a mouse / trackball, I have been using only the Magic Trackpad for a long time, so finger gestures are preferable.
