Are Yandex and Google 301 redirects normally perceived?

Internet shop. There is a need to change about 500 urls, these are sections of categories.
I plan to temporarily (i.e. make, and later remove, not to be confused with 302 redirects) make 301 redirects from old to new, so that search engines do not get lost.

Can there be any problems? For example, pages will lose weight, sag in ranking, etc.?

one redirect is ok, more is bad

well, everything will go down and if everything is fine with new pages, it will quietly return to its previous level
