Are “virtual disks” with user profiles convenient on the WinSrv 2019 terminal?
Colleagues, I welcome you all.
Now a complete update is planned in the IT economy, in connection with which the question is reflections on innovations ... Or maybe someone will share their experience.
Win2019 can store user profile folders as VHDX files. And I can’t understand in any way - is this more good or bad?
Of the advantages - the obvious gain in interactions with the VHDX file (storage, archiving, moving, etc.).
And from the obvious disadvantages - picking scripts in profile folders will have to be put into autoload and wait until EVERYONE logs in, or mount each VHDX for yourself, then turn it off.
Who thinks what? Or who has already chosen?

I have been using it for 6 months - the flight is normal. No problem. The minus that you indicated - specifically in my situation is not significant. If anything - I have a fault-tolerant farm of 6 nodes. When there were simply roaming profiles, there were more problems ...
