Are there people professionally solving clustering problems (data mining)?
We urgently need people for the project. Possibly remote work.
The bottom line is that we have a huge pile of material from social media (twitter, contact, facebook, livejournal, online newspapers, magazines, etc.). The stream is constantly in real time. Systems for clustering were sharply required. The autoclassifier, though poor, is there.
The main problem is that, for example, on the topic "Putin", the cluster with the name "Putin" included messages containing not only forms of the name, but also "president", a pure first name and patronymic, and so on. So far, the task is being solved by connecting the wiki, but for events that have occurred recently, there is no article on the wiki yet.

Hello. I'm interested in your task. Please write to loguntsov at gmail dot com
I sent a link to your question to a friend from the Department of Applied Mathematics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics . It is full of intelligent specialists both among teachers and among students.
But I’ll say right away that the task is relevant and non-trivial, so it’s unlikely that you will be able to find an easy / fast / high-quality way to solve it.
