Started learning wcf. I can't find working examples of an Echo server based on a WCF service and a simple console Echo client.
Please help with a working example.

For such a task, it is difficult to write a non-working example. Probably all the examples were working, only now you could not run them.
Difficulties with the launch - on the server side. If you're using http binding, then the self-hosted service needs permissions on the URL it's listening on - and the asp.net-hosted service needs a running asp.net site, which in turn needs a web server.
Give a specific "non-working" example - we will understand what does not work there.
