Are there any general guidelines to keep a laptop battery long lasting?

The fact is that on my laptop the battery holds a charge for no more than 30 minutes, given that the laptop is one year old. Is it possible to "cure" the battery? Or still buy a new one and use it correctly? How to use correctly to maintain durability?

1. Do not freeze
2. Do not overheat
3. Periodically “train”, discharging almost to the end (relevant if the laptop is always on the table, connected to the power supply).
4. Use only the original memory.

In my T500 there is a setting in the Power manager with recommendations on how to keep the battery longer. There you can set the lower and upper limits when to start charging and when to finish. On blog forums, the general recommendation is to start charging at 70-80%. It is also said that constant recharging in the range of 10% to 100% is detrimental to a lithium battery.
Those. if the laptop is constantly on the table and is 100% charged, then it is transferred home to the office, and again plugged into the network and it charges up to 100 again; during the transfer back and forth, he spends, let's say, a few percent of the charge.
Long-term storage is also detrimental, both with a small charge and with a full one. It is recommended to store with a charge of just 70-80%. Which is what I do on my laptop. However, judging by the PM reading, the battery has already lost some of its charge even when these recommendations were followed :( This battery is the second, original, high capacity. In general, it's not clear :)
As for your battery, I think that it is already over. My first battery came to such a state in 1.5 years, although I did not apply the recommendations described above to it, I just turned off the power quite rarely and worked from it, discharging up to 15%.

Samsung bios has a function to save the battery - limiting the charge level to 80%
I read that a full charge is harmful - during charging, the battery heats up and it turns out that it charges up to 105%, which is not very good.

I have never left lithium batteries empty for long periods of time.
And they work consistently for me for 5 years or more.
My guess is that a charged battery suffers less from oxidation or something like that.

2007 laptop, acer 5920G. The laptop is always online. The battery is worn out by 32% ... after a discharge of 0 (the laptop was 3.5 years old at that time!) The wear became about 60%. So training the battery, if it is old , is contraindicated.
