Are speakers good for writing music?

I would like to write electronic music and I need monitors, but the budget is still limited, will these speakers be suitable for writing music?

An excellent choice, Mozart's were worse (and Beethoven was generally goo as a stump, and wrote without columns at all).

Well, you have to start somewhere. Compare the result with reference tracks more, and run it on other systems. Don't forget about the shit-test too (listening on a shitty mono system). Anything is better than mixing with headphones.
By the way, not only monitors are important, but also acoustics in the room. But this is a separate issue.
