Are server power supplies compatible within the same manufacturer, even if not explicitly stated by the manufacturer?

There is a platform: R1304BTLSFAN. It has FR1000PS250 (250W) installed. There are also a number of other platforms from the same series (R1304*) on the same motherboard equipped with a 350W power supply (FR1000PS350). The manufacturer's website states that these two power supplies are only compatible between the models in which they were originally installed. Those. FR1000PS350 is not officially compatible with my platform. At the same time, the motherboard and case are identical to those in which it is installed.
A tricky question: can they really be incompatible if everything else is the same? The choice of the 350W model is due to the higher quality and unavailability of the 250W model in my region.

just look at the form factor and connectors, well, I think it’s no problem for anyone to give you a test of this power supply.

It is better to check with the sellers of all this goodness (or better - with HP / supermicro themselves / whoever assembled the server for you there). They may well be incompatible.
In this case, in general, you can ask Intel, probably.
