The discs are no different, exactly the same.
NVMe is a data transfer interface between a disk and a computer. This interface has minimal latency, unlike interfaces such as AHCI or IDE.

If we are talking about renting a server - it will be. If it's about renting a virtual server, it won't.

On servers and ssd and nvme a class higher, much more reliable, even faster.
But here is a personal example of the difference on my ssds. On the first screen - nvme, on the second - ssd sata III
PS I tested both an empty and half-filled drive. The difference is minimal. Samsung drives.
