I want to buy a laptop that contains the latest achievements of mankind (the last computer was assembled for me in a store and it has been serving me for 8 years now, I want to buy a laptop only because many moves are planned in the near future). Estimated budget: $1,000 (maybe a little more, but definitely not 2-3 thousand). I want to be not ashamed of its characteristics for many more years. Googled what is now "in vogue":
1) HDD + SSD. The main thing is to get Windows on the SSD and a little something else
(I’m considering from 32 GB) 2) Full HD screen, preferably 17 inches I won’t be able to take any entertainment other than a laptop with me). Moreover, ISP is desirable, I want the ability to watch movies from any angle)
All other characteristics are less important to me. There will be very little RAM and a processor in laptops of this category, in principle. That is, it would seem that I have quite simple requirements, but it turned out to be very difficult to find a laptop with such characteristics (I even found some models, but models with the same name but different numbers may or may not have ISP and SSD, and not even all online stores indicate the number).
I got the impression that it would be easier if they assembled my laptop in the same way that they assembled a computer. I don't know if they do it. Not every laptop with a suitable screen can fit an SSD, I guess.
So, as an answer to my question, I will also consider advice on where to find a company that assembles laptops to order; and links to purchase models suitable for me in online stores; and revision of my characteristics in the style of "Don't need that SSD", "Don't need that Full HD", "Don't need that ISP" and "Don't need that laptop" :D
