Are filters cleaned in the same way as lenses?

Good evening, it’s strange, but the process of cleaning filters is somehow vaguely and not confidently described on the Internet.
Tell me, should they be cleaned in the same way as lenses, with a spray for cleaning lenses and screens, which we put on a napkin and wipe it the same way?
We are talking about a polarizing filter, as far as I understand, they have a kind of coating and I would not want to accidentally rub it.

There is nothing special in the process of cleaning filters, except that you should not use any solvents of obscure origin or something too strong, like acetone, for the purpose of degreasing.
Sometimes, it is not possible to completely wash off traces (not the pollution itself, but its traces in the form of some unevenness of the light reflected by the surface) from filters with a special coating, but this does not have any noticeable effect on the result.
