Are dp/sp used in web design?

Hello. It is a little unclear whether these dimensions are used in the design for desktops. I ask you to correct where I am mistaken:
In Google's guidelines, values ​​​​in dp are indicated almost everywhere. At the same time, 1dp=1px only if the ppi of the screen is 160, while monitors usually have this figure much less.
And how to be, to accept 1dp=1px or when to use this dimension in general?
Also for sp, in what cases is it more correct to use this dimension?
