Arduino IDE Is it in use??

Good day to you.
Please tell me, I'm a beginner in the study of microcontrollers, yes.
Tell me, is it ok to use the Arduino IDE for project development and is the Arduino IDE used in any work? (I want to learn, then get a job in this area. I have dreamed since childhood)
And please write point by point why it is impossible / possible to use this development environment in a project / work.

"I know one minus of this IDE. That the firmware turns out to be very fat. In terms of uploading the firmware, it takes up a lot of memory. What's a minus, for all MKs"

It is planned to buy Esp32 and Stm32f4xx (Blue Pill) and study in the Arduino IDE.
If there is advice to study. Please share

Hello.
As a training, using arduino MK and the corresponding IDE is quite good for itself.
Problems with optimization and code capacity are not a primary task for you yet. Start learning the C / C ++ language, experiment with all sorts of sensors, this will help you get comfortable in understanding digital and analog circuitry + -. But still, then it’s worth switching to stm on the Cortex Arm cores, in life they program and use these particular MKs.

Arduino is designed for learning and prototyping. Those. learning how to work with MK or quickly testing the idea of Arduino IDE is best, but to implement a serious project without AtmelStudio for AVR or CubeMX + Workbench for STM32 most likely will not work
PS Blue Pill (Blue Pill) has Stm32f103 on board, f4 is another story
