Application monetization for Mac OS. What options?

Interested in possible options for app monetization other than Apple iAd and inApp purchase.
It would also be interesting to hear your ideas on this issue.

Without understanding the context (what the application does, who the users are, etc.), it will be difficult to get good advice. And so - yes, formally choose the most suitable option for you and start rubbing your hands. :)
