Antimalware Service Executable, why did it start working?

Recently I downloaded a file from a torrent (it seems to be safe, it was checked on the rutracker), but, in general, I realized that it was not right, and deleted it. However, after that, Antimalware Service Executable began to work in the task manager, does this mean that the virus still caught it or not? Before that, I did not even know about such a process and did not see it. And what should be done with it? Thank you.
