Anonymity when using a bot in Telegram. Myth or reality?
What does the developer (owner) of a Telegram bot know about users?
The questions are:
• Does he see the user's account?
• Sees the number of the user to which the account is attached?
• Sees the user id? (If so, what can it do with this information?)
• Sees the user's location?
• Can read users' correspondence (if the bot provides for communication)? (Important question!)
• Sees downloaded materials (if the bot works like a torrent)?
• If you stop and delete the bot, will this data remain (if any)?
• What methods of anonymity do you know when using a bot in Telegram?
Ps please do not be sarcastic, and back up the arguments with proofs

An example of what a bot (developer in logs) sees when a user writes to it. He only has what you sent him + your data, which, in principle, everyone sees + chat id / user id The
bot is like a regular user. When you write to your friend, he can’t read your other chats, and if you don’t throw off your location, he won’t understand where you are either.
Unless, if you can’t get the ip of the one who writes to the bot, and then it will be about
A bot is a wrapper over some kind of script, on someone's server. From what the user sends by default, this is his username (it can be changed in the settings to any unique one) and his user_id . As well as your private correspondence with the bot. Or if the bot is in the same group as you, then it sees all messages in this group as well as other users. Everything else is isolated, and the bot does not have access to any
related data. The bot can offer the user to share his geolocation, meeting place and his phone number (they are not available to the bot by default). To do this, the user will need to click on the appropriate button in the dialog with the bot. Available fields are described in the documentation
https://core.telegram.org/bots/api#contact
After pressing this button, the Telegram server sends this data to the bot owner's server (where he can save it to his database, for example). Therefore, clearing the history will not help (the information has already flown away to the owner).
On the other hand, the user also does not know about the bot (to whom it belongs, which server it accesses, what algorithm it works with). Although the developer himself can describe the contacts for communication and the description of the bot in the corresponding fields.
Of course, a scenario is possible that Telegram itself will issue data about the bot at the request of third parties. But it tends to zero, judging by how the confrontation between RosKomNadzor and Telegram flared up, and what this messenger is aimed at
