Good afternoon.
There is a Samsung Galaxy Gio (5660) phone with official firmware (android 2.3.6).
The problem is that the touch buttons periodically stop working, only a reboot helps.
At the same time, such a problem was on all versions of the firmware (OS).
Please tell me how to get rid of this problem

There is such a problem with the device - this is a fact. Try custom firmware or factory reset.

After a series of impatient flashing, I had a similar hemorrhoid. Factory reset didn't help.
I realized that such a reset does not reset much at all.
Therefore, I went to the service to be dropped through the service cord. At the same time, they flashed fresh factory rum.
