Android Jetpack and androidx what is the difference?

I can not understand. On the Jatpack site, there are 4 components and each one takes me to the androidx manual. For example, Architecture or Behavior is thrown on the hand and again mixed with the standard ones. Just too confusing, Jetpack, androidx. What is the point of jetpack?
As I understand it, this is just a conditional division of the main components of the application into 4 sections ??
Like, there is no separate Jatpack library that we connect to the project and therefore, it is, as it were, conditional.

Jetpack is just a collection of libraries divided into four categories, don't bother)
