Android control via analog input (headphones). Is it possible to?

By default (most likely) all Androids provide the ability to control calls or the player using a button on a wired headset.
Here's what I know:
- the button on the wired headset simply closes the microphone to the ground.
- when pressed once, the smartphone switches the track if music is playing; answers the call if there is an incoming call, etc.
So the question is: Is there any softina so that you can customize the actions when this miracle button is pressed?

Headset Button Controller + Tasker: at least send sms with a geo-position when pressed, at least turn on / off bluetooth / wi-fi - it all depends on your imagination
