Android after a couple of years also slows down like before?

I had a Samsung galaxy s4 and it started to blunt.
But the same iphone 5s for the fifth year of operation without lags.

The question may be obvious, but there are a number of exceptions.
From personal experience I can say that I have been using android phones for a very long time.
The system lived up to 2 years . Samsung, htc, huawei, xiaomi, lenovo, prestige ( don't even google what it is ).
iPhones are more durable in this regard.
But if all of a sudden, iPhones contradict your tastes or they just za#bali you

Really recommend these phones. Prices are higher than those of garbage xiaomi and other garbage.
At the same time, they are objectively more powerful than smartphones from Samsung or from the same iPhone.
The company is really accurate with patches and the actual survival rate of the android itself is 4-5 years.
I use and recommend.
Before that I used an iPhone 8+
