This is just as advice, just within the framework of this question, it will probably be relevant: I use clover ( ejie.me ) at home and at work.
It simply converts the native explorer view using tabs. Supports many hotkeys, as in chrome (for example, ctrl + shift + t - open the last closed tab), respectively tab management and so on. You can add bookmark shortcuts to the top panel. I am currently using version 3.0.286.0, there is a fresher version on the net, but I read somewhere that it lags. The one I'm using works great, catches all explorer events and opens in tabs.
Really very convenient, double click on a free space - return to a higher level. In short, I advise you to try. The system does not load.
