An interesting topic for a diploma related to algorithms?

I am a 3rd year student, I was given the task to choose a topic for my diploma. Most topics at our university always sound like "Website + 11-2 words", "Online store". Somehow I don't really care about it. Most likely, I will not find a supervisor who can suggest something interesting. The only thing I like is various algorithmic tasks. (Unfortunately, I don’t know mathematics at an advanced level, but now I constantly study, regardless of the curriculum). Can you recommend something interesting? Perhaps you had ideas for yourself that you put off indefinitely)
From C # + WPF technologies (also WF, ASP.Net, in short, the whole family).

You must understand that you write a diploma, and control the "supervisor". Those. the topic should be one that is interesting to you PERSONALLY and understandable to that very leader.
As for the "interesting topics" related to mathematics, in my opinion, you will not find anything better than the topic related to "Genetic Algorithms". On the one hand it sounds cool, on the other hand it's not so difficult
