An external video card instead of a native one in a laptop, really?
The problem is this - I handed over the laptop for repair because of a suddenly once extinct and not lit screen. The service center opened - problems with the video. The processor on the video card flew mine. Repair it and it will work 50/50 for 3000r or install a new one for 11000r (the second option is of course tough, it’s better to sell this laptop and buy another one). Heard a long time ago about external video cards. Is it possible to make a laptop work only on an external one without the participation of the built-in ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4350 in it? There is an ExpressCard / 34 port (HP Probook 4720s laptop)
PS Obviously I don’t express myself in a professional language, because I’m not a hardware developer, but a web developer, so excuse me if I described something wrong.

Look, the motherboard may have a slot for a video card, but they don’t install it themselves because they didn’t pay a certain amount of dollars when buying a laptop. In the settings of the proprietary software, I once saw the settings in which it was possible to select a video card responsible for different processes. I could be wrong... it was a long time ago
