There is a microphone, it requires a gain of 25 dB or more. I have an asus laptop with WIn 7 x64 with a maximum gain of 12 dB and of course the microphone does not work. If there is no driver version for your sound card with a gain of 30 decibels, then there are no options to programmatically solve the problem. It remains either to use a Chinese usb sound box for a couple of dollars to connect the microphone, or to purchase a more sensitive microphone.
