Amd or intel for *non-games*?

I plan
to build a budget but optimal block for work (website building)/free time (*non-gamers*) I
use
1 always/often: ubuntu (unity), chrome/firefox/opera/yandexbrowser, sublimetext3
2 sometimes: gimp, chrome (watching movies 320 -720)
3 rare: kdenlive, virtualbox
choose between
1 intel i3, amd a8/a10, amd fx+discrete graphics card
2 do I need a discrete graphics card for my tasks or not?
3 amd's are generally hotter - will budget coolers be noisier?
now
laptop asus x501a (intel b980, built-in video, ddr3 8gb)

I am for i3, or even more specifically - i3-6100. It makes no sense to take the new generation.
According to the described tasks, discrete video is definitely not needed. The ones built into Intel are quite good for playing sometimes.
UPD , as Igorjan correctly suggested , you can wait for the G4600 to appear on sale. It will be the same as i3, only a little cheaper.
