Amazon AWS EC2 - continues to work after removal
Used the free Amazon AWS EC2 for about two weeks (Ubuntu server).
When the need for the service disappeared, I decided to delete my account. In the profile, I followed the Chanel Account link, and confirmed the termination of access to Amazon services.
But even after that, the cloud system where I deployed my projects still functions. Sites are available.
Hence two questions:
1. Why is this happening? After all, after the removal, all systems must be removed. And how to be in such a situation?
2. There is a fear that Amazon will demand money for their services. After all, the service machine is functioning and using Amazon resources. Is it possible to see the debts for this service somewhere?

In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1. Because there are bugs
2. It will definitely be required (six months ago I solved a similar problem).
You need to hammer the support until it leaves.
If you stop the instance, then all sites, etc., will immediately cease to be available. If you look at the Account Activity at the beginning of the next month, you will see that nothing is charged to you. In my experience, the system works very well if properly maintained.
Support answers and when there is a suspicion that there was a jamb on their part, they give money to the account. Russian services with such capabilities have not yet been found
